They carved me out today
Took out my guts and my brain
But on the upside they gave me eyes and a mouth
One with a shocked expression which I guess you could say is valid
Since that’s how I feel about this
Shocked
Shocked that they took my insides and baked them into pie
Took my seeds and roasted them
But at least I can see.
